Living in the “Cloud Age”, one of the biggest challenges is to sizing environments to fit Workloads.
In On-Premises environments, companies usually overprovision their resources to make sure that Workloads can be processed without clients waiting.
In Cloud, overprovision means pay for it, so, the companies can start from a small footprint and change their instance pools to attend Workloads.
This session will describe how to create an AutoScaling Configuration to support dynamic Workloads.
In this session I will describe some core concepts for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, the concepts behind the components required to create an AutoScaling configuration, and how to Create an AutoScaling Configuration to support planned and unplanned Workload changes.
This session will have two sections: concepts and live demo.
